Awesome, fresh to the market 10mm pinfire pistol. This pistol was used by a member of the 47th MIssouri Infantry, Company I. They were raised in Fredericktown, Missouri and fought their first battle at Pilot Knob against Sterling Price. It is rare that I am able to offer such a locally historic piece of Missouri History. From an estate sale in Fredericktown, Missouri. Item Price Price: $499.00 Item Quantity Available: 1

Item Description
These are higly under represented in Civil War firearm and relic collections. These were used extensively out here across the big muddy. We find pinfire casings like everyone else finds spencers in the East. We find them from the very small calibers all of the way to 12mm. This example is great, all original and not screwed with. The cylinder cycles, but sometimes needs to be moved a little to start (most of the time it will cycle on its own). I could have it fixed, but again, I‘m not one of those that totally remodels relics to make them look and act "right." This is the way I got, and the way it is passed on. This is guaranteed to be the cheapest Civil War firearm on the web. I‘m leaving for basic training in a few months and thinning out the inventory before I leave. Most of the Kansas troopers in this area were equipped with pinfires. I would say the barrell is 9mm. Item Price Price: $195.00 Item Quantity Available: 1

This is one pretty firearm. The model 1873 trapdoor Springfield was the mainstay of the US army until the M1888 rifle. Some of Custer‘s men carried 1873 trapdoors. This is perhaps the nicest example I have ever seen of a trapdoor. Wood is beautiful and in great shape, metal is great, markings wonderful and where they should be. This rifle is pretty much straight from the arsenal. Email me for more pictures if desired. You will not find one this nice this cheap on the net. Stock is full length, everything is there....check back, I have several trapdoors I will be listing in the future. Item Price Price: $1,025.00 Item Quantity Available: 1

Talk about an Indian fighter, this is it. Here we have Remington Army conversion to cartridge, action works sound, rifling is good. Now for the bad, it is highly pitted from being unproperly stored over the years. Still a mechanically sound pistol that is a great example of frontier mechanics. This could have been used by the US Army, or anyone in the Old West. This puppy looks great next to a pair of spurs. Would make a great diplay piece for the fireplace. Where do I begin with this beauty. Crisp .36 Remington New Model revolver, markings on barrel are clear and easy to read. Loading lever is original to pistol (a lot of Remingtons are missing the originals). Serial number underneath barrel (fits tight agaist frame). Action works but will not turn the cylinder all of the way (not like we are going to shoot it anyway). Grips, one is original, the blonde is replaced (this could easily be changed), it has been in my personal collection for over 10 years. Given how many teardrop bullets we find, these babies were used a lot in all theaters. This would have been considered a prize in the cavalry. When you buy a Colt, your paying for name, when you buy a Remington, your buying reliability. You won‘t find one for this price anywhere on the net. Item Description
This is a real nice Potsdam, Saar made (very clearly marked on the lock). Stock is original, all brass hardware is original to the gun. The neatest thing to me about these are that some butt plates have the European unit markings on them, showing they were issued to Belgian troops before being bought by the U.S. or C.S. governments (this one is clearly marked). Like most European firearms they were used when we got them over here. Trigger pulls back nice and crisp, but will not hold, missing one barrell band spring, that is it(a good gunsmith could easily fix this). If you are wanting a great example of a staple firearm of the Civil War, than this it. How many of us have found large round balls that go to these? This is a must for any collection. This is your chance to own a true, unscrewed with, Civil War musket for a fraction of what an Enfield or Springfield will fetch these days. Item Price Price: $625.00 Item Quantity Available: 1

Item Description
These pistols are under represented in collections, this pistol and its cousins were private purchase pistols used by both sides during the war, like the French revolvers. It is percussion and is ONE of the first few designs the famous firm of Webley-Bentley produced. The loading lever is missing on this one, which is not uncommon. Action only partially works, but could be repaired by a skilled gunsmith. Buy this bargain pistol, put a little work into her and have a valuable pistol. Has a nice even patina and beautiful original grips. Don’t miss out on this lower budget pistol, just in time for Christmas. Item Price Price: $298.00 Item Quantity Available: 1 |
